Many moms prefer one brand of breast pump but a different brand of bottles. As some bottles do not fit all the leading brands of breast pumps some breast pump conversion kits have been developed. Avent Breast Pump Conversion Kit

The Avent Breast Pump Conversion Kit allows mom to pump using a Medela Pump In Style Breast Pump (or other pump) with an Avent collection bottle. The kit includes four convertors and 4 disposable Avent nursing bra pads. Two of the convertors allow you to pump with a Medela pump into the regular Avent bottles. The other two convertors work with the new Avent Via disposable bottles. The white Avent convertors look like large bottle collars. The bottom end of the convertor screws onto the Avent bottle, and the top end attaches to the Medela breastshield connector. In addition to Medela breastpumps, the Avent convertor can be used with any breast pump that has a connector with a universal thread. Since the Avent convertor kit contains two of each convertor, you have enough parts in this kit to single or double pump.

Medela to Wide Mouth Bottle Breast Pump Conversion Kit

One blue adapter - this works with Medela breast pumps and all breast pumps except the Avent breast pumps, to pump directly into a Pumpmate liner or a wide mouth bottle. The blue adapter can also used with the a Medela nipple and collar to feed milk directly to the baby from a Pumpmate bottle or other wide mouth bottle. Wide mouth bottles are those like Playtex, but NOT Avent or Dr. Browns wide mouth bottles. Both Avent bottles and Dr. Brown's wide mouth bottles have a unique size, so they are not compatible with other brands.
